DevOps as a Service (DaaS) is a managed model where an external team owns and operates your DevOps function — CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and reliability practices — on a retainer basis instead of as in-house employees. You get the full capability of a senior DevOps team without the recruitment, onboarding, or retention overhead.
How does managed DevOps pricing work?
Our DevOps as a Service retainer starts from €4,500/month, which covers pipeline management, infrastructure-as-code operations, monitoring, and on-call SRE support. The exact scope depends on your infrastructure size, the number of services, and required coverage hours. There is no minimum contract length — we work month-to-month after an initial onboarding period of 4–6 weeks.
DevOps as a Service vs building an in-house DevOps team — which is right for us?
In-house is the right choice when you have a large, complex platform that requires constant, deeply contextual work by people embedded in your engineering org for years. Managed DevOps is the right choice when you need the capability now, can’t afford the 3–6 month hiring cycle, or don’t yet have enough DevOps work to justify a full-time hire. Many clients start with managed DevOps and bring the function in-house once they’ve scaled — we document everything to make that transition straightforward.
What tools do you use for managed DevOps?
We are tool-agnostic and work with whatever is already in your stack. Commonly: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for pipelines; Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure as code; AWS, GCP, or Azure for cloud; Datadog, Grafana, or New Relic for observability; Kubernetes or ECS for container orchestration. If you have strong preferences or existing licences, we work within them. If you’re starting fresh, we recommend based on your team’s skill set and scale.
