AI Readiness Assessment
A structured 2-week diagnostic that tells you exactly where you stand: which use cases are viable now, what data gaps need closing, whether your infrastructure can support AI workloads, and where to start. Concrete deliverables, not a generic maturity scorecard.
A Diagnostic Product, Not a Consulting Engagement
Generic AI readiness tools give you a maturity score and a colour-coded heat map. Ours gives you a prioritised list of specific use cases ranked by impact and feasibility, a data quality analysis on your actual data sources, a tech-stack review against what AI implementation requires, and build-vs-buy recommendations per use case. Fixed 2-week timeline, fixed price, written deliverable.
The assessment is designed to answer one question: “If we started an AI implementation project today, what should we build first, and are we ready to build it?” If the answer is not yet, you leave knowing exactly what to fix. If the answer is yes, you leave with a roadmap that immediately moves into delivery.
What the Assessment Covers
Data Quality Audit
We review your primary data sources against what AI systems require: completeness, consistency, labelling, volume, and access. Each source gets a readiness rating and a gap analysis. Data is the most common blocker — this tells you what needs fixing before build begins.
Use-Case Mapping & Prioritisation
Structured interviews with your team surface candidate use cases. We score each one on impact (time, cost, revenue) and feasibility (data availability, integration complexity, risk). You receive a ranked shortlist with rationale for every placement.
Tech-Stack & Infrastructure Review
We assess your current stack against the requirements of the top-priority use cases: API availability, latency constraints, model hosting options, security boundaries, and compliance considerations. Gaps become action items in the roadmap.
Prioritised Implementation Roadmap
The final deliverable: a phased roadmap specifying what to build first, in what sequence, with what prerequisites. Includes build-vs-buy recommendations, vendor shortlists where relevant, and realistic timeline estimates per phase.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI readiness assessment?
An AI readiness assessment is a structured evaluation of an organisation’s ability to successfully implement AI. It examines data quality and availability, infrastructure capabilities, candidate use cases, team skills, and regulatory considerations — and produces a prioritised roadmap based on what the analysis finds. A good assessment is specific to your organisation and data, not a generic questionnaire.
How long does an AI readiness assessment take?
Our AI Readiness Assessment is a fixed 2-week engagement. Week one covers stakeholder interviews, data source review, and use-case discovery. Week two covers tech-stack analysis, use-case scoring, and roadmap production. You receive the written deliverable at the end of week two. Larger organisations with multiple business units may require an extended scope — we discuss this upfront.
What do you deliver at the end of the assessment?
You receive a written report covering: a data quality analysis per source with readiness ratings and gap actions; a scored and ranked use-case shortlist with impact and feasibility rationale; a tech-stack assessment against the top-priority use cases; build-vs-buy recommendations; and a phased implementation roadmap with realistic timelines. Everything is documented so it can be shared internally and used to drive the next phase.
What does an AI readiness assessment cost?
Our AI Readiness Assessment is fixed-price at €3,500 for a single business unit or product area. Multi-unit or enterprise scope is quoted separately. If you engage us to implement following the assessment, the assessment fee is credited against the implementation engagement.
